You never know when an emergency situation can arise. Be prepared by keeping some supplies in your vehicle to help get you through safely. With the harshest season approaching it is important to keep the following in your vehicle:

It is also a good idea to be aware of your surroundings and know your location. Try not to rely on navigation systems or Google Maps (possibly outdated), they may not be available, especially in new areas. It would also be advisable to let family/friends know your travel plans so they know where you are going and your arrival time.
